I think it was because the pictures didn't have image extensions.

It's funny how past GTA VC, gals from SA, IV and V never appeared in games as actual characters. My vote will go for a chink gal from CW, or candy suxxxx

Well, SA is more memorable for that side quest with CRAZY ASS girlfriend. Which is ex-gf of GTA3 protag afaik.
