The new swallows who took their first flight a couple of weeks ago have already grown a lot. Their wings are now so strong that they're reaching great heights.
Wild strawberries are in great abundance this year and those deeper in the forest are enormous. Chanterelles have popped up too and the blueberries are looking good.
Tent was leaking but is now sealed.
Yesterday on the street I passed what is hopefully one of the ugliest women I will ever seen in my life.
Potato salad:
Potatoes, cucumber, olive oil, lemon, parsley.
Interesting cabbage salad:
White cabbage, dill, vinaigrette, mustard seeds, black pepper.

Today I drank a Syrah wine from Sicily. I like the Settesoli wine house. It got me decently drunk, but not enough to sleep, because I had a huge Japanese dinner. Dinner was mediocre but also cheap so I can't complain.
