The humble fox darted through the underbush. Their lithe frame weaving deftly between trees and rocks as the lurker hounds bayed relentlessly behind 'em. It was a scene straight out of a medieval trapestry, a timeless battle between predator and prey played out in the wilds of the modern world. But for the fox, there was no romance in this struggle, no sense of chivalry or honor. They were simply fighting for their life, driven by a primal instict to survive. And yet, despite the odds stacked against 'em, they clung to a flicker of hope, a belief that somehow, someway, they would emerge victorious. It was a defiance born of the postmodernist sensibility, a rejection of the idea that fate was predetermined or that power belonged only to the strong. For the humble fox, courage and hope were their weapons, their shield against the onslaught of imbecile lurkers of the hounds and the world they represented. /goyslop
