So, one of the devs from Lollipop Chainsaw has announced that its back. No clue as to in what way. Remaster? Remake? Sequel? I guess what is most important is whether or not Suda is invovled.
Was he ever particularly involved with it? I mean, yeah, made by Grasshopper and he has a producer credit, but it was written by James Gunn before he went full capeshit sellout. As far as I could tell, Lollipop Chainsaw didn't even get a shoutout in Travis Strikes Again.

Producer credit? Where you getting that from? He was the game's Creative Director, meaning he had a hand in the tone, story, and more. Probably not a ton, but he definitely worked WITH James Gunn on the ideas in the game.
It is confirmed to be a remake, though to what extent it will divert from the original I have no clue. (I'm not exactly a lollipop chainsaw conoisseur.) I have no idea why they'd be doing this in the first place considering just the song licensing will cost them an arm and a leg (probably why the game needs to be remade in the first place instead of remastered) and it will only lead to them being called rapist pro-putin national socialist covid deniers by all gaming news media for releasing it, not the best start for a new company

Suda, Gunn and Strong have no clue about what's going on, just like the rest of the world. I guess some japanese smart-ass decided to bring back popular game to make some quick buck, but there is literally no info about it, it's all just wishful thinking, if you want it that way. Since all of the CC music must be removed (unless they have money to buy it again), you'd be better playing it on mute 100% of the time. Yet they mentioned some "realistic view" of the game, whatever that means. Could be another Heroes' Paradise for people to shit on. We'll see, if this thing even going to happen.
upd: so, they don't have money for music and now it's a remake, not a remaster (???).
