Oh I plan on getting XB1 and 2. I mentioned that earlier in the thread though so I didn't repeat myself.
I also forgot to mention I already played FE three houses on my gf's switch, and I remember having your same experience, of being super hyped on my first playthrough and then hating NG+ lol. I haven't played the DLC yet though. Smash Bros is also another thing we usually just play together because I hate the online.

Donkey Kong Country kicks ass. Fuck you. It's basically Super Mario hard mode. Even as an Adult, you have to think to play through those games. Least that's the case with Returns & Tropical Freeze.

I haven't played return or tropical freeze, I'm talking about the original trilogy of games. I didn't grow up on them, I first played them a few years ago and I didn't like the level design specifically because most levels are quite dull, with an occasional difficulty spike every once in a while in regards to timing barrel shots or some very specific difficult jumps. I didn't mind the difficulty spikes, I was just bored playing through the rest of the boring level to get there lol.
To be fair though it was a few years ago at this point. I might feel differently nowadays. Since it's on switch anyway I'll give it another go.

The equivalent phoenomenon with nintendo fans, is what we're seeing in that most people exclusively bought the switch for first party Nintendo games so they are experiencing a "drought" that only exists in their minds because every non-first party game is too niche to placate their never ending depression for long. The difference being that first party nintendo games are actually good lol.

What kills Fire Emblem for me is the unskippable Academy bullshit, which takes you 15 minutes, to skip everything in between each battle. The actual combat is fucking good, but you can get that same thrill from Fell Seal, which is pure gameplay. I shoulda got that, but I got me Pathmaker instead which dicn't even work, and then I got Space Haven, which is good ,but not as good as Rimworld. I'm thinking of refunding that for Iratus, since I fucking love Darkest Dungeon.


Make sure to get the DLC (Torna comes with the DLC pass.) with XB2, coz I probably wouldn't like it as much without it. The rest of the faggots at this forum, don't have the dlc & have never played Torna which is prob why they don't like XB2 as much as I do. With the dlc, I had enough orbs to unlock the whores I wanted through the Blade thing and Kosmos & her sister were some of the first Blades I unlocked.

I never played XB2 without dlc, I could easily see myself grading it down to a 7 instead of a near 10 without dlc. No DLC custom difficulty sliders where you you can friggin everything so the game plays lightning fast with my settings. No challenge mode. No alternate custumes. (All the girls are naked in my game, even Morag and the cutscenes are hilarious with how serious Morag acts, and how everyone thinks she's a boy but in my game she has her big ass hanging out, and her hair is down.)

XB DE, has all of those modes by default, except for custom difficulty. You can also edit every single costume but you have to unlock parts first. I make everyone run around nearly naked except for Danban, only coz his Devil armor & scythe make him look badass. I make Shulk look like a complete fruit, wearing a hood like Assassin's creed, & a red coat but then runs arond in his underwar. I make Reyn look like Conan.

Future Connected is like Xenoblade x Pikmin, but with a murderous Noppon army. It's like an army of blood thirsty Sanrio characters or Kumachan. I love this shit,

I quit playing Rturns around World 7 coz there was this platform section that I just could not beat and I was playing on the fucking tiny 3ds screen, which made it worse. They had to rerelease that. I haven't played Tropical Freeze yet, but I'll get it eventually. Too bad there won't be any new DKC games coz they're working on Metroid, I'd like to see a new DKC with the BOTW engine.

I could name a lot of action platformers like GUnstar heroes,Shinobi, Ninja Gayden, Casltevania but when it comes to pure platformers, nothing else comes close to DKC, except Mario.
Even Kirby is just an action platformer. I really like PS2 era Ratchet & CLank but that's also just an action paltformer.

Yeah I have no interest in it either, because it looks like every single open world game ever made. The theme doesn't even really make sense. Why are you playing as a Samurai, but you fight like a Ninja? Samurai didn't actually fight with Katanas, LOL! Although I do find it amusing that it takes Westerners to make a game filled with manly bearded Jap dudes who look similar to me.

Too bad, it has tHe same exact mission structure, as every open world game ever. Even the walking animations remind me of Witcher 3. BOTW is good, because it steals a lot of boring Far Crap & AssCreed tropes, but it actually makes them fun. I actually like climbing towers in BOTW, because not only are you massively rewarded with a huge chunk of map, but every single tower has their own challenge & puzzle that you have to overcome. Sometimes, you have to fight your way to the top while climbing, then jumping & trying to evade lightning strikes while wizards are trying to zap you with magic.

BOTW does so man things that other open world games don't do, that it really shows to you just how lazy most game devs are. For some reason BOTW gets labled as just an empty tech demo, but it feels much more robust than the avg open world game. I think modern gamers are just too used to hand holded, cinematic triple AAAss experinces, that BOTW comes off as empty to them since that game is pure gameplay.
It could easily be one of my fave games were it not so little kiddy. Even Mario is not as little kiddy to me, coz Mario games usually have really hot titties like Rosalina, Daisy & Peach.

With BOTW, I feel like I'm reliving early 90s era Nintendo again, where you needed go to Genesis for games with actual bloods, t&a.
It's weird that Xenoblade is their main Rpg franchise now, coz it honestly feels like the type of game that would've been exclusive to a Sega system. It's edgy, very violent with serious themes & plenty of T&A like a Phantasy Star.

Stranger Things was actually good, when it started out. It was basically a modern day version of The Goonies, but that's practically everything these days, just rip offs of old school 80s shit, but without the massive violence & tits and ass, so it feels sterile in comparison. Witcher Netflix actually has tits & ass, but it's all ugly. Like it has that typical Communist-ugliness that typifies everything Western made today, most obvious example of which is Last of Us 2.

Hilariously, there's no reason why we couldn't go back to $50 or $40 price tags, but EA games standardrized the $60 price tag coz they figured out, that that's the highest price that Consoomers were willing to go by in the late 2000s. The framerate is better already. They also fixed some of the bugs, and changed some stuff around so that it is less annoying (the grinding is all still there though lol.)

Only thing I can susspect was that the popularity of Twin Peaks is what structured Japan's popculture from the 90s and it's most evident in the SMT series from the 90s, including the first two Persona games. Three including Eternal Punishment, which is constantly ignored these days. That one actually had the most Killer7'esque plot in terms of politics & propaganda. P2EP predicted the Meme wars, a decade or two before it happened.
Stuff like Twilight Syndrome was also popular in the 90s. ANything that mixed a school setting with psychohorror was popular in Japan during that era.

WWE Battlegrounds is actually my most hype game for the year (coz this year's games suck.), until Nintendo stops fucking around and actually announces some games. (There's only one person playing Paper Mario in my frien list.
Even Xenoblade DE had at least 5 people playing it, but no one played it for more than 20 hours. I'm already 50 hours in, lol)

This year Nintendo only released Animal Crossing, but it's all they needed anyway since it made over 13 million and it's not even been a year yet. Xenoblade doesn't count since it's basically just a remaster/remake (XB DE is strangely both, lol) of an old shit, but legendary game with a new epilogue scenario.
That epilogue is good shit though, and actually feels like a follow up to Torna in terms of quality design & the game engine.
That's why I think Monolith soft's next game will be yet again, another Xenoblade since they've never made a complete game with the Torna engine yet. They're always just teasing you with TOrna & Future Connected.

I hope we get a quick remaster port of XBX to Switch like they did with that Tokyo Mirage Session game that nobody plays. No one in my firendlist has that game, and Fire Emblem is pretty popular in my circle. Both FE Warriors & Three Houses seem to get 100s of hours of play time. Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Smash, Mario & Zelda are of course the most popular but Fire Emblem is getting up there into the A-league of Nintendo franchises in terms of popularity. More people need to get into Xenoblade mang. XB beats the shit out of Fire Emblem (better gfx, better writing, better combat, both have good music, way better characters, better lore, better mythos, better world building, better immersion) and I came to the Switch as a FE fan.

I may rebuy Three Houses some day, but that game should've bben sold for $40, coz Three Houses has very low production values and it just repeats the same content over & over. Even Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 seemed to have a much bigger budget than FE 3 Houses and Xenoblade is the only one of the three that actually feels like a full budgeted game that doesn't cut any corners at all.

Battlegrounds looks like the perfect multiplayer game. It even has the Full Character Creation suite from the WWE2k games, which is the only thing about the 2k games that's worth saving.

F2P & Mobile games are just modern day Arcade, the more skilled you are, the less money you spend since you can beat the whole game just through skill alone. The in-game money sink is meant to attract casuals who don't give a shit about games anyway, so they'll just buy their way through progress. That's all it is.

Now sure, Pay2win games do exist but even in those games, you can still win, if you're gud. Pay2Win is only a problem in multiplayer games, but I find that I'm still skilled enough to make it into the top 3 of the match.
Such is the case with Warface, which is Pay2win as fuck, but I've never spent a single dime on it. I just run around & shoot everyone in the head until the team of PC faggots eventually figures out, "lets gang up on that Okboomer guy, since he's the only one who's doing real damage to us."


The main thing that annoys me about Mobile games are the forced-ads. Although it's hilarious in Motorsport Manager (Which is superior to the shitty Steam product. Switch has the mobile version.), coz they sometimes advertise porn games. I'm like wtf? Aren't mobile games family friendly by default? WTF is up with the ads? It has nothing to do with me, coz I don't do or view anything porn related on phones. I think the game that I kept seeing in my in-game ads is "Call me a Legend". Look it up, it's friggin porn mang.

Holy shit, that's one hardcore grandma who fucking loves her Xenoblade. She bought the original Xenoblade like 5 times, and has a copy of XBX, XB2 & Torna. I thought she was just some larping grandma, who probably just saw her grandkids play the games, but the more you listen in to her, the more you realize that she really did play these games. I honestly have a hard time believing that she could beat a game like Xenoblade, but she even admits during the vid, that she has never beaten XB at all, but she still played it for 100s of hours.

I couldn't imagine her beating it, coz XB games even force me to rethink my strategy, die over & over, and find something that actually works. I fucking died like 40 times just trying to get to the city at Gormott coz I was playing it like a normal jrpg, where you try to fight & kill every monster you see, but in XB, you're actually supposed to run away from most enemies, and only fight them when you're strong enough.

XB1 is much easier than XB2, so it's no surprise to me that she got much further in XB1 than she did in any other game in the series. XB1 is still a great tactical game though. The difficulty is measured by the characters you use, so the character with the most tactical prowess is Melia, and she's also the most rewarding to play as, coz she can completely control the pace of the battle.

That's just weird to me how Nintendo games can be enjoyed by so many people of all ages & backgrounds, even something like Xenoblade which imo, I always thought of as a much more hardcore, inaccessible game, since even most Jrpg faggots can't wrap their head around the XB serie's gameplay.
Awhile back, I saw a Grandma vid, opening up the Animal Crossing game, but that's a game that I'd expect to be enjoyed by all audiences since it doesn't have the same gatekeep logic that Xenoblade games usually do. Xenoblade games have a world structure that's similar to the NES Final Fantasy & Dragon Quest games, where you can get randomly killed by over powered monsters if you don't pay attention to where you're going.

I walked into that class with like a 3.9 gpa (I suck at math. The one gook who can't do math. Ironically I passed my math class coz the chick grading my papers was a Japanese woman from Hawaii, who thought I was really cute.), and I came out of that semester with a 2.0 coz I failed all of the business classes, due to how they don't fucking teach business.
