Damn right.
Xed51 wrote: Wed Jan 19, 2022 7:34 pm Season 4 is definetly my favourite, specificially for the Terry Silver writing. It would have been so easy to just bring him back as the maniac from KK3, but they went the extra mile.
I should've learned from Ali, that Cobra Kai's writers never do the expected, but they also don't rely on cheap 'subversion' either. They actually expand on the traits that the character already had, and make them much more 3 dimensional.
How the fuck are they so damn good? I looked at the writer's credits and they haven't really done anything outside of Cobra kai, yet they do such a good job of capturing the Karate kid spirit that you'd swear that they wrote the first two movies at least.

The writing in this show is so good, that when they introduced all these new characters related to Anthony's generation, I was like WTF? Who gives a shit. Only for them to develop the conflict to a point where I did give a fuck. I was actually invested in the black weeb kid's plight by the end of the season. Anyone I watched the show with, kept making jokes on how he would be browsing this website, LOL!
Image
lol. It's funny considering the only other people posting at this thread fit the description. Black weebs at this site remind me more of LongbeachGriff or Caleb though. This site's Black Weebs look more like the baby Black Weeb's BIG Brother Lucas. (That kid was fucking scary looking.)
They seem to be big scary dudes who can kick ur ass, but just happen to love anime & nintendo lol.
https://www.youtube.com/c/LongBeachGriffy
https://www.youtube.com/c/CalebCity
I think I actually met Caleb once, who was working at a gaemstop. The whole time I kept wanting to say "Are you Caleb?" The dude had a completely different name in real life, but everything else about him from the way he spoke, to the way he looked & dressed, the dude was like a spitting image of Caleb, lol.

When the hell will this site ever get a Female Black Weeb?
Image
This site used to have several hot Asian chicks.
I like how Terry Silver is still psychotic as fuck, but he's a much more realistic depiction of a high-functioning psychotic to the point that he's been living most of his life as a billionaire. (You need to be a legit psychopath to get at that level. The more obvious psychos like Vince Mcmahon or Trump are small timers when compared to insane motherfuckers like Bill Gates.)
They did establish that in KK3 with him dumping nuclear waste or whatever the fuck with just a signature. In KK3 he was just a charicature though. CK4 went through the trouble of showing how the hip lifestyle of a rich man, is just a cage that Terry built around himself to keep his inner animal from escaping.
Nah what you described was just sociopathy. Psychopathy is what Vince Mcmahon looks like.
Image
Image
I often compare Trump to American Pyscho, but that's much more accurate of Vince. (Trump just resembles the Wallstreet liberal scene. Vince is everything else from that movie lol.)
There's something extremely unhinged about that guy. He's also closet-gay (Razor Ramon & several others have confirmed it.), similar to how Trump has incest-relations with Ivanka. (She's the reason why he suddenly became a GOP fag and will even kick out people from his rallies who say "FJB" or "Fuck Joe Biden." Ivanka was almost assassinated during a plane flight a few months ago.)

Vince used to make other grown men kiss his asscrack on tv. Like why? What's this dude's problem? It's funny only coz Vince seems to always be on crack like KK3 Terry Silver, lol. He's also one of the only people I've seen who clearly is misogynist, like when he made Trish bark around like a dog on all fours. Again it was funny as fuck coz Vince comes off like an over the top 80s vllain, but he's not acting. That's who he is, ayy lmao!
Image
Image
Vince is the Scrooge Mcduck meme in real life. The most insane people I've ever met & seen were all gay, and I find it absurd how you're not allowed to point that out at all in the USA when USA itself is quite clearly ruled over by a bunch of psychotrannys.

This is Vince as a 70 something yr old fuck, and he still has that swagger. I swear it is not normal for a White guy to dance as well as Vince does, ayy lmao! (He's IRISH, but whatever kek. Irish is whiter than Jew.)
Image
What's interesting is that Trump is actually normal & somewhat prudish, especially when hanging around Vince.
(Trump is not prudish around grown up women obviously,
Image
but I mean, he acts like a Kazuma Kiryu boyscout when compared to the other richfuck psychos.)

Vince acts like a wannabe Luciferian family Bloodline by acting like he's completely above everybody whereas Trump will actually play by the rules, and tell Vince to stop acting retarded.
One of the funniest interactions that I've heard of between those two was when Vince suddenly lit up a blunt & puffed it.
Trump was like "What the hell are you doing?"
Vince: What does it look like I'm doing?
Trump: Put it out. You can't do that here.
Vince: I... JUST DID.
Trump: *smacks the blunt out of Vince's mouth and stomps it out*
Vince: Million Dollar Man Laughs.

Vince has claimed that MDM gimmick actually is based off of himself, lol.
I believe it, he really is that fucking crazy.

The Japanese version of Vince, Antonio Inoki is a fucking psycho
Image
but he's more like a Monkey D Luffy psycho in
that Inoki is always told that his ambitions are impossible, but he just ignores 'reality' and makes it happen anyway lol.
Image
There's only one other (still living) guy who's done the same things as Inoki has.
Image
You know who that is?

Trump, ayy lmao! Except that dude was president.
Image
Inoki was just the leader of multiple parties and constantly gets voted back into Congress.
Image

It's weird as fuck how Wrestling used to have so much political power within the world stage, but it's only due to Vince & Inoki.
(And) Giant Baba
Image
but that Giga fuck has been dead forever. He died a few weeks after I arrived to Japan and I was completely mystified by how the Japanese were treating him the same exact way that Ameritards treat George Floyd, as though it were the death of a messiah. Inoki inherited his will, and look at how fucking crazy & prophet like that dude comes off.

I'm only bringing up all of this wrestling history, coz it's like our real life version of Karate Kid where some random combat sport strangely has plenty of political influence over a town. Although in wrestling's case, the stakes are much higher and the WWE are in league with the House of Saud. Similar to how Inoki's league had direct ties with Communist regimes via his political connections.
The Jap version of Rasslin has currently turned into a hobbyist thing since crazy ass Inoki got kicked out of his own wrestling league. (Internet plebbitors would tell you that this is for the better, but those goofy ass White bois in women's panties don't shit to begin with!)

I'll most likely drop wrestling all together once Vince & Inoki are both dead. They're the only reasons (plus Hulk Hogan) why wrestling was any good to begin with.
Image
Image

The modern product sucks ass coz it's Vince's daughter running the show and Inoki doesn't even have anything to do with wrestling anymore.
Notice a common pattern? Hulk Hogan, Vince Mcmahon & Antonio Inoki have all been cancelled from their own damn products that were famous because of them, and they've been canceled by the White boy internet nerd SJW brigade.
Kreese's mistake was to try to awake that animal. It was very interesting to see how Kreese is nowhere near as broken as Terry. He acts like a controlling asshole, but that's only because he wants to empower the next generation so that noone goes through the same trauma as he did.
Meanwhile Terry is just manipulating people, for the sake of it. The flashbacks even imply that he was born rich, through his father. Which explains why he was the coward in the Vietnam flashbacks.
The plot twist at the end was epic, and you can't even feel sorry for Kreese coz he brought it on himself.
I never expected the show to go in this direction, but the writing is so good that it carries it. Seriously, why is the karate kid reboot the only show allowed to be good? LOL!
Coz the lead actors/characters Johnny & Lapusso have actually turned down every single script that they've ever read since the 90s except for Cobra Kai which sounded so damn interesting to them that they finally greenlighted it.
Speaking of psycho, Tory is still sexy as fuck.
Tory's titties get bigger & bigger each season lol. How the fuck does she do that? I assumed it was just a padded bra but you actually see a good amount of cleavage during the prom where her tits r fucking huge.
I hear they're fake. I won't speak on it until I've seen it in person. Rake needs to contact the actress and tell her that Danny "The Man" Dataly will agree to date her, if she gets me a cameo in Cobra Kai.
So? In that case I hope Tori's titties grow even bigger for next season lol. She's like real life One Piece, Nami & Nico's tits get bigger & bigger after each chapter.
I mean sure, natural big titties feel way better on your face & muhdik than big plastic ones do, but I honestly prefer the look of big plastic tits. They sure look way better than big plastic asses which is all the rage now and I'm an ass guy.
Yeah Robby was my favourite of the kids this season. Which is something I never would have anticipated, considering the past three seasons did such a good job of making me root for Miguel as Johnny's surrogate son.
The scene where Johnny mistakenly calls Miguel "Robby" in a drunken stupor was heart breaking. I see why Miguel went in search for a real father figure, but I still think he's acting childish. Johnny fucking made him walk again, when doctors claimed he'd be stuck in a wheelchair.
Miguel was only cool when he was an awkward nerd from Not-Mexico. They try to paint him as the Lightforce side of Robby but it's just yuck to me. Honestly I can't even imagine Tori liking a guy like him in real life. Although Tory's real life boyfriend actually was some fresh off boat guy like Miguel so whatever.
I prolly just project myself on to Rob, since Rob dressed exactly like me during the prom night.

I didn't even go to prom, coz the girl I wanted to go with was some Aya Brea looking Half-Jap Huwite bitch who was a senior and I was just a freshman, but the hilarious part is that we were probably the same exact age. I was a 18 yr old freshman coz I dropped out once then came back a year and a half later then dropped out again. The Aya lookalike never considered me once, most likely due to her perceived age differences. (Most people didn't believe I was that old. Funny coz now most people assume I'm 18 when I'm twice that age.)
It was a blow to my ego coz even back then, most girls were saying that I was one of the best looking guys in school.
Even when I was in college a decade back, a lot of women were claiming that I was one of the best looking guys on campus and even some of the teachers would flirt with me kek.
It really weirds me out that I'm such a social outcast that's treated like fat ugly garbage on the internet.
(I don't even know where the obese part even comes from. Internet faggots just completely make up everything about me, and it becomes real coz these nerds just build a fictional strawman and claim it's me.)
Meanwhile Robby accepted that, but went to the opposite extreme of trying to build everything by himself. Which led to him fucking up the black kid's training, and luring him into a life of violence.
I think the kid would've became the way he did no matter what. I used to be a weeb gamer anime nerd just like him, who got bullied by everybody. (Except the girl crush I had actually liked me, since I've always been cute, lol.)
I eventually learned that if you don't want to get shot or killed that you fuck them up first, which basically is the Cobra Kai way. All Rob did, is let him in the door since Cobra Kai wasn't willing to teach him anyway. Look at how they completely reject Stinkray, a loyal 'Cobra Karateka', lol.
Isn't Lia the 12yo kid going to school with Anthony and the black kid? I eagerly await the discord screencaps claiming you're a pedophile lol.
Granted they're probably older, but they look like a bunch of 12yos to me. People are getting shorter and shorter, gee I wonder why
She looks like the Pink Power Ranger to me who was 23 when she did Power rangers.
I just assumed Lia was 18 playing the role of a 15 yr old. She sure looks old in her IMDB.
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6797982/
I looked up her age and she is underaged. Whatever, in Japan adult women look like little girls anyway so I just assumed it was a grown up.

Tory claims she's only 16 or 17 in the show, but the character looks like an adult.
I'm not saying that's bad casting though coz I remember what middle school was like in Vegas, and it was common for girls to already look 20 yrs old, due to how women reach their growth spurt first.
I eagerly await the discord screencaps claiming you're a pedophile lol.
Fuck them. Why the hell do I have to walk on pins & needles to a bunch of cowards who don't even bother to speak to me? Compare me to Vaush (an actual pedophile.) and you'll see a clear difference.
With me, you could easily sum me up as cultural differences, because I honestly thought it was an adult.
Women from my culture naturally look young even when they're in their mothafucking 40s.
Gook moot and an adult fan of his.

This was Maki Goto when she was a 34 yr old (she's 36 now & hasn't aged a bit.), but she still looks like a teen.
Image
Image
Maki actually looks decades younger than the Lia actress.

Who the fuck made these discord slobs my king? I've seen what some of these tards look like. Even the decent looking dudes with decent looking girlfriends look completely outclassed by me (I'm so arrogant that I would even try to out-tranny them just to prove a point, that I'm not close minded or bigoted. I'm just better looking than they or their girlfriend & I hate mediocrity which is what they are!)
yet they talk about me as if I'm halfway retarded and that everything I claim is wrong.

They're such typical Americans. In American history, I remember the history books constantly implying that Germans & Japanese are fucking stupid and it shows with how you see Americans react to their political opponents in real life, they legit act like you're a stupid toddler who needs to be taught on how to tie your shoes.

Meanwhile places like China will actually speak respectfully of all of their enemies, including USA & Japan.
Japan itself only speaks of foreign countries in terms of what they can barter or get in exchange with them.
Then you have fucking retarded USA, where the Americans eternally act as if they're still in highschool, playing Revenge of the Nerds, but they placed the Nerds into the Jock role for some reason.
I'm sick & tired of having to abide by the USA's social standards when their standards make no fucking sense.
Yeah she was funny, I'm assuming she was mostly introduced as set up for Season 5.
I'm just glad it wasn't Piper. How is Piper supposed to be athletic? She's fat. Fat & ugly.
Devon is awesome coz she's such a fucking nerd. She contemplates everything through math equations, but when she's out on the debate podium, she be acting like Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney lol.
Season 5 is not gonna be the final one either, it already wrapped up shooting lol. The show is gonna go on until Daniel and Johnny are as old as Kreese and Silver in-universe. (In reality Terry Silver's actor is actually younger than Daniel Lapusso KEK!)
It's as I feared. It's going to be the next Degrassi. This might turn out better though since it's unlikely that Zabka & Macchio will quit the show after 4 or 5 seasons. The problem with these types of shows is that it lives & dies based off of the charisma of the kids, and he kids themselves only have 4-6 seasons at most before they grow too old. (Unless they're like Machio who never ages, lol.)
Image

You're never going to find another group of zoomers who are as charismatic as this crew.
You can't even tell that they're zoomers, they come off more like Gen X kids from the 1980s, not unlike Zabka & Macchio themselves during the original Karate Kid. it's weird coz they don't act like Millennials either. (Well maybe Xennials, but those types are quasi-gen x.)

I wonder if they're ever going to do anything with The Next Karate Kid. I've always been a fan of Michael Ironside and he'd blend in with Kreese & Silver's insanity.
Personally I believe Tory would have won regardless of the match being rigged.
I thought there were plenty of times where she would've lost due to either points or disqualification.
No doubt that Troy is the best fighter, if only in terms of her strength alone. (Since her technique sucks ass lol. It's prob her yuuuuuuugggggeeeeee titties getting in the way.)
It's like boxing, in real life I'd (and most men in general would) beat the fucking shit out of Floyd Mayweather, but nobody can beat him in a boxing match coz he'll simply outscore you and run away like a faggot.
I honestly thought that Pacqiao could've murdered him. I think he still could, the problem is actually being able to hit Floyd. Mike Tyson is like only 1 or 2 inches taller than Floyd (I've heard that Tyson is actually 5'9 and he looked it at AEW.), but Tyson outweighs him by about 125 lbs kek. Shit I outweigh Floyd by about 30 or 40 lbs. Dats how smol dat motherfucker is. Floyd has a 6foot reach though (his reach is longer than Tysons, lol.), that's why he always wins.

Tory lost the point battle, but every single time Sam scored a point, it didn't count. (And I was relieved that Sam's points didn't count, AYY LMAO!)
I heard a lot of complaints that the wins were not deserved, but I disagree. Hawk is the best martial artist of all the kids. Robbie had a chance to match him, until he realized that his way of life was throwing the black kid off balance, which in turn made him too emotional to properly focus on the fight.
Hawk improved a shit ton. Before season 3, I thought he was more of a kickboxer like Tori. A lot of Hawk's techniques reminded me of GSP. Then he's outright doing crazy ass Power Rangers shit like Robby.
When I say that Robby is the best, I mean in terms of real life. He's the one with the best technique & flow. I can't move like that at all. I don't even do Karate, I'm like that kid from Crows Zero, I'm a Wrestler Boxer hybrid + some Judo.

I like how that kid was like fuck it after the Karate Kid just completely mauled his ass.
So Wrestler kid just tapped into some Inoki Strong Style, tanked every single punch & kick and then counterattacked & 1-hit killed the karate kid with Great Muta kick in the face lol.

They straight up parodied an Inoki match. You know how Hulk Hogan hulks up after getting his ass kicked? With Inoki, he'll tap into Strong Style spirit and will just kick & punch through your offense and then he 1-hit slaps you and sends you flying across the ring lol. I miss the days when Wrestling used to be that damn insane.

*Inoki bestowed upon her, Strong Style Fighter spirit through the palms of his hand!*
Image
I will say, Sam grew on me a lot too, mostly because of all the crazy style switching she was doing in her final fight lol.
LOL her comes Sam for Street Fighter 6 soon to be revealed as Gen's last student.
Yeah I was very glad Stingray came back, he's so fucking funny. Although don't forget he was bodying people during the school fight in season 2. Stingray is secretly a beast lol.
Of course he was, he's a near 40 yr old beating the shit out of kids.
"Why don't you find friends your own age!"
Shit people would be saying that to me too, if I didn't actually look like a teenager. I'm still shocked that I get carded just trying to buy M rated Nintendo games, lol.
Stinkray is so accurate though. I don't have a home either. I just bum off of family.
Park is so damn corny. I just can't take a Chink bully, who acts like he's Black, seriously at all.
Yeah I've never seen an asian person act black in my life. I've never heard an asian speak ebonics either. That is just so alien, I can't even conceptualize it. (Yeah I'm being sarcastic in case any autist were wondering)
Of course plenty of Gook Black wannabes exist. I'm just saying that they're not threatening at all.
The lower income Asians who imitate Hood-Blacks just come off as silly like Park.

Now sure I'm from a culture where the Asian dudes actually are pretty scary, but that's coz they're a bunch of rich fucks psychos, born into rich people life who rap as a hobby. (Except Dabo, I think he at least middle class though like when Dr Dre started.)

I'm not saying that Park's not realistic though. I get punked out by Gooks like him all the time, and every single time I'm like "What the hell is their problem?"

I think this is the only gook I know of who actually is from the streets, and not simply a rich psychopath flaunting their money.

I was friends with her back on myspace lol. I should look for that pic sometime, where it showed that damn near everyone who subscribed to my blog were all Jap hoodsters kek.
It was easy to get popular back in the day. You just had to look cool & have some connections.

Unlike now where you have to kiss up to corporations so you can get a blue checkmark while only having 500 subs or some shit, but everyone bows down to you coz ur a CHECKMARK, kek retards.
Edit: I forgot to add that I think it's hilarious how Cobra Kai still seems to exist in a culture that resembles the 80s, where damn near everyone seems to know Karate. Even random Hockey players are busting out karate moves.
Every time a new season comes out I always think of getting back into Karate, because I realize how much it actually shaped my identity as a kid and how much I owe to it. Then I never do because I live in the real world, where most karate masters probably have no clue wtf they're doing. I really did not appreciate what I had as a kid, because I took it for granted, lol.
[/quote]

My younger sister was taught kung fu or some shit by some random old Chink dude in San Francisco. It's funny how that works. Nearly every dojo is a MCdojo, so your only hope is to get trained by some random old chink who knows their shit. Not unlike what happened to Daniel Lapusso.

Cobra Kai stands out among other 80s/90s reboots in that it feels like the writers have some grasp on how real people actually act and feel. around 95% of what comes out of the American film and television industry gives of the impression that it was written by insufferable American west coast hipsters who have never in their life interacted with someone who isn't an insufferable American west coast hipster. I can't stand how people in modern action movies talk. At some point someone decided that snarky early 00's sitcom dialogue should be the template for all popular media. Which makes it unwatchable, because people don't talk like that. It doesn't work outside of that specific 20 minutes comedy format, where you want every dialogue to be punchy. Anything more long form, and the characters come off as equally unlikeable smarmy hipster faggots. Cobra Kai has a lot of really witty character interactions, but it never turns the characters into punchline dispensers. When they're funny, they're funny because of their established character traits. Johnny is an old school macho stuck on what was cool in the 80's so you can have him interact with kids like Miguel and you get a lot of mileage out of their cultural difference. Even designated comic relief characters like Daniel's cousin or Stingray are funny because they have very defined characterization. Daniel's cousin is a deadbeat guido sleazebag. Stingray is a a neckbeard who hangs out with kids because he never really grew up. If you think about, that's the bare minimum of characterization, but it's more than a lot of modern movies and series are capable of. There's this video of the actors of the Star wars prequels being interviewed and being unable to describe their characters personalities, but those characters had a lot more distinctive personalities than the one from the new trilogy who I could only describe by bringing up the characters from the original trilogy whose roles they've been forced into.

If Kobra Kai treated its characters like most reboots treat their characters, as nondescript pawns to move around and arrange in ways that reflect the properties they're based on, it would have ended up like the new Robocop or the new Conan or the new Ghostbusters. Something that's forgotten before it was even out. But they obviously didn't rely on familiar iconography to carry only the most barebones writing, they took these old characters and came up with these new characters and made all of them relatable and likeable. You can buy Daniel and Johnny both as middle aged dudes with a complicated family life and as master martial artists that their students look up to. It has a way of applying what's essentially Martial Arts Movie logic, where pretty much every single conflict is expressed through a karate battle to the real world while never devaluing it's actual human with it. Every battle is a turning point in someones character arc. It's not just action for actions sake or iconography for iconography's sake.

The new season was awesome. The development between Kreese and Silver was great. Loved the scene where Kreese reminded Silver of how the hippies looked down on veterans like them after they came home from Vietnam, all while Silver had pretty much made all that californian vegetarian yoga hippie shit his new identity. Only for him to realize later that behind that persona, there's a guy who still runs circles around him, both as a martial artist and a schemer. Almost makes me sad that they'll most likely won't have a lot of interaction in the next season. A lot of the show has been about what the older generations pass on to the younger ones and I can't wait to see how Cobra Kai is gonna look like after Silver turns it into an franchise. There are a lot of really interesting things you can do with how obsessed kids are with brands and how brands pass on ideology. Silver going all out in turning CK not only into a brand but into a lifestyle while Daniel and Johnny still teach karate as a means of self improvement and acquiring personal strength is the logical thing to do and there's a lot of potential to it. Really looking forward to season 5.

The original films were near and dear to me since it's how I got into karate like most everyone in the 90s(I do kenpo), and I enjoy a lot of the show, but boy does it love to manufacture d r a m a like, as said, Degrassi. :P
