I swear, the sapeurs of Congo make for some bizarre images. It's definitely gotta be the contrast between their colourful clothing and the background setting of poverty. If I did happen to go to either of the Congo republics I wouldn't mind hanging out with those guys tho, they seem like pretty cool folk.
