Disclaimer: I know very little of the early internet era of Grasshopper, So I apologize in advance for any incorrect info in this topic.
Sometime in 2002, Grasshopper introduced it's new mascot, Hopperman. It was followed up by a 25 part webcomic series surrounding this mascot and daily lives(?) of the staff at GhM. Hopperman has made cameo appearances in Michigan as an outfit for Brisco and in the secret Hopper7 mode as a reward for beating the awful killer8 mode in killer7.
In June 2022, Suda revealed its return as Shin-Hopperman. Drawn by Masanori Ushiki, No More Heroes 3's Creature Designer.
Unfortunately, only 12 out of the 25 have been archived on the Wayback Machine. I have collected them in this MEGA folder as backup for future discussions of this topic:

I'd like to know more about this funny little guy, and I've seen so little discussion about it since the Shin-Hopperman reveal.
