It's completely ass backwards. Being attractive gives you power, it's such an obvious reality it boggles the mind that I'd need to state it. I know I say that often recently, but the internet is just that fucking crazy.
Being attractive leads to being popular which brings all sorts of advantages.
A woman is generally phisically weaker than a man (I'm using the "old" definition of woman, that is to say not a man in drag but a person with a uterus and ovaries) so using her charms to manipulate those around her has always been a tool employed by females to ensure their survival and success.

Paganism has come and gone, christianity has come and gone and women now supposedly need to listen to a bunch of men in drag, telling them they should dress and behave as nuns or iraqi women because having men do what you want and give you gifts and money is somehow not empowering, it is in fact abject and being richer and more popular will not give you advantages in life, what the fuck?

Outside of the land of crazy that is the USA, every woman I know loves dead or alive, bayonetta or other games where females wear skimpy outfits because that is considered empowering, using your own sexual charms that you were born with to subdue the world around you. A woman is empowered by feeling beautiful, so beautiful that the people around her are in awe and will bow down to her wishes. It's a power fantasy as old as time. However it probably doesen't work in america because americans are hardcore into sucking dick, feminine dick to be precise.

I've seen the ugliest motherfuckers (who always end up being into traps "ironically") claim that women are exclusively into supermodels and actors but I have women flirt with me constantly wherever I go in europe, to the point where my UK commare had to basically manouver me away from her sister through a complex set up in order to have me for herself LOL! And I don't think as myself as particularly handsome or model tier at all. Hell I'm even balding again, this time it's not stress related I'm just literally balding so I'm saving up for a self transplant.
I'm a normal fucking person but crazy ass americans would have you believe that sexual interaction between people is backwards and icky. Back in the day they claimed christ didn't like it, nowadays it's your tranny neighbor feeling marginalized by a woman daring to do whatever the fuck she wants with her body. The social media apparatus is used to exert conformity among the masses but as shown with the Bloomberg hashtag, it's a type of cultural mindrot that has a mind of its own which exists out of the Corporations' control.

I wasn't even saying it was all backed and controlled by corporations though.
All I said is that corporations created social media as a structure in order to sanitize the internet and better sell advertisements and viral marketing through bots, and internet autists flourished within that structure because it is easy to exploit if you have a lot of time and get fixated on one thing.
Of course them going after specific people is their own choice, and a reflection of an overall societal illness.
I mean Youtube will demonetize you for saying curse words but allows ads on a man in bra and panties who speaks sexually to the audience about how sucking feminine dick is delicious, yeah I do feel there is something wrong with current American media
